:: appears a unit of Necrons has engaged a number of Eldar Harlequins.  Casualties on both

I managed to get down to Drawbridge Games and snag three rounds of Shadow War: Armageddon against my friend Steve and his Harlequin kill team.  The first game of Scavenge was over by round three after Steve managed to get into melee with my team and quickly shred it apart.  I then rolled an 11 on my bottle test end the game quickly.  We quickly moved onto another game.

The next scenario we rolled up was Raid.  The objective of the mission was to destroy the entrance of the base belonging to the defender.  Knowing it would be pointless to close with the Harlequins on my own. I set up in positions to fire at them as the closed the distance.  Steve finally failed some of his invulnerable armor saves this game and the game ended with a Pyhrric Necron victory with only one of my guys still standing.  With some time left still in the evening we should the board a bit and rolled up another mission.

The final scenario of the night was Ambush.  This lead to a very cinematic game as we had placed a large bridge between two of the buildings in the center of the board.  With the Harlequins traveling across and below the bridge my Necros were deployed in firing positions around the board ready to ambush them. The game was once again close with my kill team eking out yet another narrow victory with only one survivor.

Harlequins are extremely hard to shoot off the table. Makes the game fun though. I’m really enjoying the goofiness and random cinematic moments that occur in the game. The store league starts next week.  Fun will be had.

Path to Glory 2022

Welcome to our Age of Sigmar Path to Glory map campaign of 2022! Background: Newly discovered lands in the realm of Ghyran have become open for conquest and warbands from all the major factions are making their way there to stake their claim! Campaign Manager: Ryan Player set up. Choose a faction and create a 1000 point Path to Glory starting Warband. Then notify Ryan of a preferred color. So what’s this map thing? The Undiscovered Lands represented by our map replaces the “Exploration Roll” in the Manage Territories step of the Aftermath section of a Path to Glory game. Instead, prior to playing a game, both players should agree on an unclaimed territory on the map to fight over with the winner of the game being able to claim the territory.  If the player won a major victory they can claim the territory for 8 glory points.  If the player won a minor victory they can claim the territory for 9 glory points. Normal territory rules apply. A player may also elect not to cl...
