Heralds of Silence: A Warhammer 40k Necron Crusade

A signal from the void between the stars reaches a dead world.

Awaken...

Overlord Khotek the Cruel stirs from his eons slumber and begins to process the mission protocols sent by the Silent King. He is tasked with striking into territory held by the lead units of the Indomitus Crusade on the edges of the Pariah Nexus.  Khotek and his court consisting of his Royal Warden, Thotep the Unstoppable and Plasmancer Khophec the Star Killer, commandeer elements of the 17th Legion of the Sautekh Dynasty as the majority of the Szarakhan Dynasty still slumbers.

Khotek’s initial order of battle consists of his court, a Canoptek Reanimator, Khophec’s bodyguard Cryptothralls, Immortals of the 1st Cohort and Warriors of the 3rd and 5th Cohorts of the 17th legion.  He sets off to engage the lead space marine elements garrisoning a staging point for Imperial forces headed into the Pariah Nexus.
